Description:
This is a 2  hour class designed to familiarize users with following the process of legislation.  We will look at resources to find legislators, track bills, find laws and statutes, and election resources for both South Carolina and the U.S.  We’ll use the South Carolina Legislative Research website (scstatehouse.gov), and the SC Election Commission website (scvotes.org) and other resources for state information, then go to Thomas.gov and FdSys (NEW!), for federal resources.

This is a good class for students, teachers, state employees and anyone who may be interested in particular laws or bills on a state or federal level.
